Dhall Recipe


First Pot


2 x can of Split Pea Dhall

Add 1 teaspoon tumeric 

Salt to taste 

Add Water 

Boil 

2 x  dry chillies 



Second Pot 


1 x onion 

1/2 teaspoon of mustard seed

1/2 tablespoon of jeera seeds

1 x Curry leaf 

1 teaspoon of masala 

1/2 teaspoon ginger and garlic 

1 x Green chilli 

1 x Tomato 



Let the first pot boil to a good consistency 


In the second pot add in the chopped onion, mustard seeds , jeera seeds, curry leaf and green chilli and fry for 5 minutes. Then add in your ginger and garlic and fry for 1 minute. Lastly, add in your grated tomato. Once the tomato is cooked add the mix to your boiled dhall in the first pot. Let this braise together for 2 minutes.
