Breyani Recipe



Marinade 


2 cups mass 

1 teaspoon tumeric 

1 teaspoon dhania jeera

2 teaspoon garam masala

2 teaspoons briyani mix

1 teaspoon dry thyme 

5 teaspoons masala

2 teaspoons ginger and garlic 

1 tomato grated 

Dhania and mint 

Salt to taste


Can be marinated over night (thereafter place in fridge) 


Boiling Rice 


2 cinnamon stick 

1 elachi 

Tumeric (as much as desired)

Salt to taste 


Boiling lentils 


1 cinnamon stick 

1 elachi 

Tumeric 

Salt to taste  



Making the Breyani 


3 cinnamon stick 

2 Star seed 

2 Leaf spice 

Elachi 

Clove 


Fry onion with above spices until brown 

Put in the marinade chicken into pot for about 25min 

Add in dhania and mint , braise for another 15min 

Put in the boiled lentils with the potatoes (already steamed and ready) leave on the stove for 5min 

Take off stove 

Start placing the rice on top (rice already boiled) 

Put extra fried onion , dhania and mint on the top 


Place in the oven at 180 degrees for 15min
